FAITH
HELMLINGER
GUEST ARTIST
Faith Helmlinger, born in Richmond, VA, is a dynamic dancer and talented graphic designer. With a passion for movement that began at the age of two, Faith has trained in ballet at Richmond Ballet and extensively in hip hop at The Richmond Outreach Center and Richmond Urban Dance. While her ballet training has provided a solid foundation, Faith has truly made a name for herself as a master of hip hop.
Beginning her teaching career at the age of 14, Faith has since shared her love of dance with countless students, and has taught at esteemed institutions like the Williamsburg Institute for Dance, Henrico Center for the Arts, and the Richmond Performing Arts Alliance's workshop series. She is currently a senior at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she is set to graduate in the spring of 2025 with a degree in graphic design.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Faith serves as a design intern for Brand Gloss and is the creative and marketing director at Richmond Urban Dance.
Outside of her professional life, she continues to inspire the next generation of dancers. Fun fact: Faith performed on America's Got Talent with Phil Wright's The Parent Jam, season 18, Episode 7!
Faith is part of our Rotating Guest Series where we bring in amazing movement and dance artists from around Richmond for pop-up style classes! Faith is part of RICHMOND URBAN DANCE, another incredible community based dance studio here in Richmond City! They have the best hip-hop and jazz and we are lucky to have her teaching a class for us!
