Casey Morse

Casey Morse, from Suffolk, Virginia is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Dance and Choreography at Virginia Commonwealth University expecting to graduate in Spring 2025. She began dancing at the age of 4 at Maureen’s School of Dance training in various genres, and by the age of 10 joined a competition team at Dynamic Movements School of Performing Arts. At 14, Casey began studying at the Governor’s School of the Arts in Norfolk, VA where she received preprofessional ballet and modern training from Janelle Spruill, Joni Petre-Scholz, and Kathy Brenner. During her time here at VCU, she has performed in various student works, senior capstones, faculty works by Trebien Pollard and Autumn Proctor Waddell, and guest artist works by Norbert De La Cruz III and Bradley Shelver. She also had the opportunity to attend the American College Dance Association (ACDA) in 2023 where she performed. After graduating with her BFA in Dance + Choreography, Casey Morse plans to pursue her passion for performing and choreographing.
