At Richmond Movement Center, we have several programs, class series, and opportunities to
take classes of all styles from Richmond’s BEST working professional dancers!

Our in-studio class series is called our
Resident Dance Artist Program.
All Resident Dance Artist Classes are Pay-What-You-Can! Suggested donation $15.
This program is the bulk of our classes offered at the center and is in line with our mission of giving back to the community while offering the opportunity to study dance from seasoned professionals no matter your financial situation. Resident Artist Dance Classes are OPEN LEVEL classes. Our instructors generally teach an intermediate level, but have modifications, explanations, and can slow anything down or up as options for differing level dancers in the room. We are all here to learn, explore, grow, and move together!

We also offer a class program called the Independent Dance Artist Program where independent dance artists rent the space from RMC, with sliding scale availability, to teach and build their already growing class base and following. You, the dancer, pay the artist directly for class as they have posted upon arrival!

In addition to the programs above, we offer a variety of Masterclass Series, Workshops and Pop-Up’s, First Fridays Community Performances, Host Private Artist Events and Gala’s, as well as space rental for artists to rehearse or create work.
