What is the Resident Dance Artist Program?!

The Resident Dance Artist Program is an assembled team of professional dancers who are deeply committed to progressing dance forward in Richmond and beyond. They are working professional dance artists in weekly residency here at Richmond Movement Center, and they align with our mission to bring dance to our community in an affordable way. Having access to professionals who are pushing the field forward at a Pay-What-You-Can rate is part of our commitment to giving back to our community.

We are excited to be launching a campaign in November to raise $10,000 to support our Resident Dance Artist Program; donations to this campaign will go directly to paying our Resident Dance Artists for their classes from December 2025-July 2026!

All Resident Dance Artist Classes are Pay-What-You-Can; Suggested Donation $15.
