Frances Baker is a Richmond-based dance artist currently studying Dance and Choreography and Media Studies at Virginia Commonwealth University. She approaches movement as both a creative and communicative practice, drawing inspiration from collaboration, performance, and multimedia storytelling.

With experience spanning dance composition, artistic direction, and digital media, Frances brings an energetic and thoughtful presence into her craft. She is passionate about cultivating spaces where movers of all backgrounds feel encouraged to explore, take risks, and deepen their relationship to movement, while leveraging social media and digital platforms to amplify artistic voices and foster creative connection.
