THE LOVE SHOW: DANCER AUDITION CALL

Richmond Movement Center is excited to introduce THE LOVE SHOW this February! The idea of this show is to push for more choreography being made in Richmond! We understand that art making can sometimes get pushed to the back-burner if we don't have a place or a prompt to get your creative juices flowing! So we wanted to create a show about LOVEEEE, where you can create a work around the topic-- whatever that might look like or mean to you! Then we take a MONTH TO CREATE! Don't think too much. Make choices. Learn to work creatively and collaboratively with other dancers. And put on a show! Maybe it'll be terrible... or maybe it will be amazing!?! ...KIND OF LIKE LOVE??? See what we're going for here? A place to learn and grow together, nonetheless! 

We will be taking about 10 choreographers for this first show! No need for videos, but please send in a blurb about yourself, your dance background, and why you'd like to be involved with this show! 

We will also be holding an OPEN COMMUNITY AUDITION for dancers in the community that would like the opportunity to work with emerging choreographers in Richmond as well as have the opportunity to perform. This is a wonderful opportunity for choreographers to work with new dancers who are excited to move and expand your dance community!

OPEN COMMUNITY DANCER AUDITION: Friday, January 2nd @ 10:30am-12:30pm
