We are so excited to kick off the new season of our RESIDENT ARTIST PROGRAM!

THE FLOOR IS OPEN for you to explore your artistry and technique. RMC’s Resident Artist Program offers opportunity for dance creatives to dive into their bodies and imaginations, explore connections with other community dancers, teachers, performers, and the opportunity to create and present new works to the public. This is a monthly pre-registered 3-4 week class on Saturdays from 10:30am-12:00pm. Pay-What-You-Can options available upon registration!

MOVE WITH JORDYN!
Jordyn Faith is a contemporary-modern performer, choreographer, and teacher from Virginia. She is a graduate of the James Madison University where she earned her BA in Dance. She has 9 years of dance experience, with training that encompasses Modern, Ballet, and Jazz styles of dance. Her goal is to foster an inclusive environment for all students because she believes, “Dance is a form of therapy and it feeds the soul.”

SATURDAYS @ 10:30AM-12:00PM*

SAT. DECEMBER 5 @10:30a-12:00p —Modern Class will revolves around fall and recovery. It will investigate how to rebound from lower planes and the transitions needed to maintain optimal flow.

SAT. DECEMBER 12 @ 10:30a-12:00p —Modern floorwork class will introduce large and explosive moments that will encourage power and traveling. It will expose ways to traverse through space whilst being in constant contact with the floor.

SAT. DECEMBER 19 @ 10:30a-12:00p — This Modern class will explore the idea of reaching beyond. How can we use the reach of our extremities to initiate and transform movement and time.

TUES. DECEMBER 29* @ 6:00-7:30p — This Modern class will be a fun and energized display of movement and expression. This high energy class will experiment with jumps, focus, and joy!
